Dr. Tindni is well known for having made critical contributions in area of quality of life in elderly patients on dialysis. Dr. Tindni’s research has addressed important issues related to health care of this elderly patient population in the United States. He is one of the pioneers in the use of dialysis at home. He works as both as a researcher and as the Medical Director of the top ranked Home Dialysis Unit in Cincinnati.
Dr. Arshdeep Tindni is one of the top nephrologists in the country and has made numerous contributions as the National Kidney Foundation Cincinnati Chapter Advisory Board Member. In addition to his duties as the Medical Executive Board of the Regional NKF, Dr. Tindni also has played a major role in The National Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP®). KEEP reached over 185,000 individuals at increased risk for developing kidney disease between August 2000 and June 2013.
He served as member of ASN Practicing Nephrologists Advisory Group and he is currently the Member of Renal Physician Association Clinical Practice Committee. He is also Assistant Professor, The Jewish Hospital, Internal Medicine Residency Program, University of Cincinnati. Board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Tindni has presented research and abstracts on the national level regarding prevention and treatment of acute renal failure. Due to his extensive work in the field, Dr. Tindni has been designated a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN), which honors Society members who have distinguished themselves through excellence in practice or research.
Dr Tindni is always keen to educate the community on preventative medicine practices; he is an executive member of the local NKF chapter. Arshdeep has also enjoyed participating in multiple medical mission trips to medically underserved area.
